Trying to find realistic depictions of male genitalia, whether to understand the rich variety of these wonderful appendages or for finding truly useful resources for sex education, can be a difficult and fruitless quest, but Salvatore Bruno succeeds where many artists fail, for he has both the skill and honesty to show men’s dangly bits as they really are, in slumber and in arousal.

Working from life models and photographs, and clearly in many of the drawings his own body, he has created a portfolio of drawings which portray male sexuality rich in variety, honest in portrayal, and beautiful in artistic technique.
