Zagato calls these paintings his ‘pin-ups’, fantasies of eroticism and sexuality fulfilling our ‘naughty cravings’ and the satisfaction we can experience when we imagine our objects of desire. He recognises that these erotic fantasies border can easily be construed as pornography, but in presenting these artworks, as he explains, he is trying to discard these negative thoughts about sexuality and emphasizing his intention to portray this aspect of human beings without hypocrisy.
