Ten years after his death, and four years after the publication of the L’oeuvre secrete portfolio, the Paris postcard publisher Mourlot produced these postcards of some of Albert Dubout’s previously unpublished drawings. The first set of twelve coloured drawings was produced in May 1986, and the second set of line drawings in December of the same year. The two sets are housed in a specially designed embossed velvet case designed by Paul Figarola.

Viewed from four decades later much of Dubout’s humour is rather dated and questionable, but it gives us a valuable insight into his bold and dauntless imagination.

The Dubout postcards were published in a numbered limited edition of 300 copies.
