Sophie, a high school teacher, divides her time between her classes and her husband Arnaud, who has a severe disability. While their love remains as strong as ever, they have had to reinvent their sex life – Sophie goes out alone to swingers’ clubs and seduces men whom she meets later in hotels. She films these encounters and watches the footage with Arnaud, which is her way of remaining faithful to him. But when Sophie becomes more attached to a new lover, and when feelings develop and she refuses to continue filming their trysts, the game that binds her to Arnaud starts to fall apart and their marriage is thrown into question.
