Lorenzo Ridolfi has a very distinctive style of art, and what some may see as a single-tracked choice of subject matter, but his depictions of men enjoying sex with each other – Sesso Maschile (Mansex) – has gained considerable traction in the online gay community. It’s certainly a no-holds-barred, honest depiction of many gay men’s best fantasies, and is not without a certain quality of emotional engagement as well as the purely physical.
