Forty-four-year-old Flavia is not like other women – she earns her living from home, naked in front of the dozens of cameras on her website. Flavia is a camgirl who hides nothing of her private life from her admirers. Enclosed in her ‘glass room’ she feels safe. Her encounter with Marco, a younger man, disrupts this ordered daily routine. La chambre de verre (The Glass Room) is a simple yet raw sensual story, in which Axel portrays surprisingly complex characters, and subtly addresses sensitive topics including exhibitionism, love, sex and self-esteem in a graphic novel that is as erotic as it is poignant.

The artwork is deliberately realistic, reflecting Axel’s talent both as an illustrator and as a photographer.
